Access is invite-only during beta. Once invited, create a key to personalize these examples. Production sending requires a separate review.
Which role should a teammate have?
When you invite a teammate, the form lists Viewer, Support, and Team Administrator. Each person on the team has one of those roles. The role decides which sending pages they can open and which actions they can take.
- Open Team Members and read the role next to the person you are helping.
- Match that role to the list below. Do not promise an action that their role cannot take.
- If they need a higher role, ask a Team Administrator to change it. Support cannot grant Team Administrator.
Viewer. Can read sending data.
- Read clusters, domains, tenants, webhooks, templates, suppressions, firewall rows, inboxes, inbound mail, events, and usage.
- Open and reply on support tickets.
- Cannot create or change sending resources.
- Cannot see SMTP passwords, webhook secrets, or the team API key.
- Cannot open a raw bounce payload dump.
- Cannot issue a credential.
- Cannot invite a teammate.
- Cannot remove a suppression.
Support. Can look up recipients, read analytics, and remove a suppression.
- Everything Viewer can do.
- Remove a suppression so the next send to that address is not blocked.
- Cannot create a cluster, domain, webhook, template, or SMTP credential.
- Cannot invite a teammate or change anyone's role.
- Cannot copy sending secrets or open a raw bounce payload dump.
Team Administrator
- Manage the team, memberships, and invitations.
- Create and change clusters, domains, tenants, credentials, webhooks, templates, suppressions, firewall, and inboxes.
- Invite Viewer, Support, or Team Administrator.
What to tell the customer
If a send failed because the address is suppressed, Support or a Team Administrator can remove that suppression. A Viewer can confirm the row is there, but they cannot remove it. After the row is gone, the next send to that address is not blocked for that reason.
Who can do this
Viewer, Support, and Team Administrator can read this page. Only a Team Administrator can change a teammate's role.
